1 cup sugar 1 cup shortening 1 cup pumpkin 1 egg 1 teaspoon vanilla 2 cups flour 1 teaspoon baking soda 1 teaspoon baking powder 1 teaspoon salt 2 teaspoons cinnamon 1/2 cup chopped raisins Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Cream sugar and shortening. Add pumpkin, egg and vanilla. Sift together flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt and cinnamon. Add to mixture. Stir in raisins. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto greased cookie sheet, 2 inches apart.
Bake 10 to 12 minutes.
May be frosted with orange and brown frosting to make Halloween pumpkins.
